Share System Resources with SoftXpand & Save Money and your CO2 output

SoftXpand ecoware from Crusade gives you the ability to share the resources of 1 computer to create upto 6 individual workstations. SoftXpand uses intelligent technology to share the resources efficiently across all six machines.

By using only 1 PC, not only is the initial purchase cost lower, there are savings to be made on actual running costs. Tests have shown that 84% less power is consumed over an equivalent stand-alone PC based system, this in turn reduces the CO2 output by a similar amount.

This is achieved by installing multiple Dual Head video cards for the monitors. USB hubs provide connectivity for keyboards, mice, sound and Flash Drives.

When the PC is booted and SoftXpand is running, each user will have a logon prompt allowing them to logon as individuals and run standard applications as if using a standalone PC.

ClassXpand

The student-teacher interactive system, ClassXpand, is fully integrated into SoftXpand.

This allows the teacher to:

• Instruct students better by broadcasting his/her screen onto every workstation, or to groups of workstations, in the classroom.
• Control students' screens to help solve problems.
• Follow and monitor students as they work.
• Open documents or applications on student workstations.
• Project an application onto a screen using a projector, while working on another application on his/her monitor.
• Restart and shut-down students' workstations remotely.

Since ClassXpand transfers video frames through RAM and not TCP-IP, teachers can display heavy images and videos without clogging up the school network.

Graphic applications, such as AutoCAD®, SolidWorks, 3D MAX Studio, are difficult to run on regular Interactive Learning Software; students experience significant delays. However, with ClassXpand, students hardly notice any delay.

SoftXpand Monitoring Console allows teachers to monitor all users' activity, without disturbing them.

The Monitoring Console also allows teachers to assist students remotely.
