Speed DatingPosted in Blogs on 14/02/21
Does your relationship with your IT provider feel a bit like speed dating? Communication is swift, and you feel as though they are just rushing you along so they can move on to the next customer? And if you’re still perusing the Internet, looking at other IT providers and wondering if they could be a better match, it’s like swiping through Tinder 6 months into a relationship – meaning it’s definitely time to cut your losses.
Your relationship with your IT support company should feel like a harmonious marriage with great communication between two organisations that complement each other.
We’ve been chatting to loads of business owners and managers over the last year, and we’ve heard some real horror stories about lazy IT support companies. Of course, the first lockdown was so sudden that everyone was caught on the hop. Just like all IT support companies, we had the busiest fortnight in our history.
But critically, we put our clients first, making sure that all of their team members were set up correctly for safe, secure at home working. Then we phoned them regularly to see what frustrations they had working from home and did whatever we could to help them all adjust to the new way of working. But not everyone has been so lucky; we’ve heard horror stories of businesses being left vulnerable and poorly set-up at home with way too much downtime.
An IT Support company should be like a partnership. Yes, it might have been great ‘courting’ in the beginning, but if the effort from them declined after that initial rush, the relationship might have gone stale.
Let Crusade excite you and find love again with an IT Support company that really cares. If you’re even slightly dissatisfied with your current IT support company, we really should talk.
